Messages search iPhone 7Plus

i have an iPhone 7Plus. I am not able to search messages that were sent or received prior to my upgrading the phone. I have tried all the found processes to reset spotlight search (turn messages off/on in spotlight in settings, language change). None of it worked.

My wife's 7Plus is doing the same thing. I also tried it on a few of my friends devices and same story.

Anyone with similar issues and found a fix?

I don't believe I'm the only one with this issue.

Is there really no one that has this issue? I find it hard to believe. I saw it on multiple devices.

You were asking about others experiencing something similar, and that's more or less what the links provide.

Just upgraded to new 10.1.1 build and it still does not resolve this issue.
