iPhone Messaging App

Currently have several group chats that have combination of IPhone and Android. Looking for something that will allow me to add or remove any user reguardless of the phone they use. Currently reading about a few of them and What’s app seems to be the front runner. Thoughts, or just wait till 18 comes out and see if that does the trick.
