Messed up in iWeb! :( Quick response please...

I uploaded my site first to my oblivious90 account. But later I decided to make a new account with a name I would be more comfortable with. Alexanderfoto.

I didn't want my site to be published at them both, so I logged on my oblivious90 account, and deleted every page in iWeb and then uploaded the site. The plan was to make oblivious90 a blank page. And I did not think it would save itself!

I though afterwards I could just exit without saving and when I opened the application again I could just upload my old site to alexanderfoto.
But no, page is now blank.

I do have the page here though.

And I think it's located on my iDisk, is there anyway I can retrieve my old site to iWeb, or do I have to start all over?

If you have deleted the pages in iWeb then you have lost your work. When you publish, iWeb creates HTML files and then uploads them. What you need is a .domain file (iweb creates). If that is still available on your iDisk just double click it and iWeb will open the file and it should contain your work.

The .domain file on your local disk will be a blank .domain as you have found out.

Best thing to do.. and I am sorry to say it won't help you now, start backing up your iWeb construction folder. If you have .mac then just use Apple's back up utility and you will find an option in there to backup the iWeb folder. I back mine up regularly, once a night, along with my other important stuff, just incase. If you have the file backed up then you can always restore it if something goes wrong.

I did some googling and figured out I should just start over. So now I'm were I left off. I'll definetly do backups!
