Messenger not working

Microsoft messenger for mac has stopped working. Everytime it opens, a message appears saying the service is not available or I'm not connected to the internet.

I'm obviously connected to the internet, and the service is unlikely to be unavailable everytime i log on.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

no solution, but I've been having the same problem.

Try using adium (google it if you don't know what it is) I do and I've had no problems with my msn account
