Messenger Software

Juss wondering I dont have a Mac yet but will be gettin one around x-mas, was juss curious if there was any messenger software like ICQ or MS messenger for mac...if not are there 3rd party's that are compatible with ICQ and MS Mess. ? ? ? Thanks in advance.

They have MSN Messenger for Mac, although it is not as robust as the PC version--go figure

Apple also just came out with it's own messenger called iChat which is very cool. It's compatible with all AOL Messenger User Names.

I am not sure about ICQ, but there are a ton of 3rd party messenger apps available.

I believe that ICQ is available, as well as a third party app that includes ICQ called Fire. You can check under the downloads section on Apple's Mac OSX site

ICQ has been available on the Mac for a long, long, long time.

Check ICQ.com and check the download pages.

Also there are a few 3rd party apps that allow you to to connect to multiple IM services, like Proteus and Fire.
