Since I have Quicktime X, I can't build up reference movies so I Downloaded MakeRefMov from the developer section of Apple (it makes a .mov file as a reference movie). The problem is that MetaX doesn't seem to work properly. It finds metadata, I toggle them, but it doesn't write them in the movie. Sometimes it just crashes and sometimes it displays an error (about file dimension). Any Help please?

You could try using the application subler instead of meta x. Or install the old QuickTime which can be done using the snow leopard disc
