I'm trying to find a local cocoa dev group, but I'm having trouble. I live in Shelby Township, Michigan and the nearest group I can find is the Detroit Cocoaheads chapter which would be great if it wasn't 50 minutes away. Does anyone know of a closer one? I can't drive yet, which is the main reason behind my limited range.

Even things more popular, like JUGs, are hard to find without having a bit of a drive (the nearest JUG from me is about 45 minutes away).
Unless you live in or near a very big city, my guess is you will have to wait until you can drive. (and I don't know if I would allow my kid to drive to Detroit at that young age)

lol it won't be "at that young age" by the time I'll have my license if my parents have it their way, which is pretty much what happens when you're younger than 18. They have protectiveness issues
