M1 Pro as in users with an M1 based 13" MacBook Pro, or users with an M1 Pro based 14" or 16" MacBook Pro?
For the later, no. The M1 Pro is still the better chip vs. the M2 with the exception of single threaded CPU performance. Even if you are taking about the 8cpu/14Gpu version of the M1 Pro you still benefit from Pro's faster integrated memory and a screen that is miles better.
I am curious what people will say about the former situation. The M2 is not a major leap forward from the M1 imo. If you edit a lot of video, the ProRes media engine could be a big deal depending on your workflow, however, I would think many of the people in that boat would have waited or made the jump to a 14" or 16" MBP already. That is the only compelling reason I could see someone deciding to go from the M1 13" to M2 13".
