Mic mode shows blank during calls

Hi, when on voice calls using apps(facetime, messenger etc), the mic mode appears blank as shown in the screenshot. To fix this, I need to mute and unmute myself to show the current mode and be able to select other modes.
IPhone 13 pm, had the same issue since launch. Does anyone else faces the same issue? Is there a fix?
