Mic not working

I have installed bootcamp. I have a brand new macbook pro. a few months ago I tried the exact setup on my Dads. Everything worked great. I wanted to see how good I could game on it. Mic worked perfectly. I was impressed and bought my own. I can't get it to work. Installed for sound is Cirrus Logic HD. If I hardware test mic it picks my voice up fine. Playback sounds like I have been slowed down and is a lot deeper. Not sure what to do. Please could someone give me some suggestions. Thanks.

I think this is an unknown issue that we must wait on an update from Mac for. I Googled around for it a few weeks ago and that seemed to be the general consensus.

this issue was NOT fixed in SL boot camp drivers
