I wanted to see what Sims would work in what devices. The objective was to see what worked and not to damage anything.
The equipment:
iPad 3G, iOS 3.2.2, on AT&T
iPhone 4, iOS 4.1, on AT&T
iPhone 3GS, iOS 3.0.1, on AT&T, but inactive since iPhone 4 upgrade
Noosy Micro Sim Adapter - http://www.noosyapple.com/cp/html/?39.html
The best part was that nothing was damaged in the test, but the results were disappointing.
The iPad wanted to register new service when the iPhone 4 Micro Sim was placed in it.
I could not get the iPhone 4 Micro Sim to insert in to the iPhone 3GS with the Noosy adapter. The tolerances are real tight and I played with it for about 30 minutes. I didn't put much pressure on it, but the assembly would just not slide in.
