Hey I posted this under a different section of the forum but didnt get anyone looking at it so let me try this again.
I have a 3GS iPhone that I jailbroke to 3.1 with the old baseband. Because of this I am missing the carrier logo. I did the fix that I saw in a thread but that only forced it to have AT&T up on the top of the phone. I also own a microcell and it should read AT&T M Cell or something along those lines when I am using it. Becuase of the bug in the carrier logo I am not seeing the M Cell part show up.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this or a different way to double check if I am on the M Cell or just normal 3G. I have unlimited calling from my microcell so I need to know if I am log onto it while placing a call.
Do I have to update my baseband to fix this? I wanted to keep the old so when I got see family in England I can take my phone but it isnt that big of a deal I need to know if I am on the microcell.
Thanks
