Samsung just introduced the first consumer MicroLED called The Wall. It's got all the benefits of OLED, but MicroLED can get brighter, has a longer lifespan, avoids image burn in, and uses less power. So just as all OEMs are now moving to OLED for phones, here's hoping Sammy adopts the first MicroLED phone in the next few years. The Wall will be available for sale this year, but only a few will be able to afford it. There's no way it'll cheap. But in 3-5 years, we'll surely see the affordable MicroLED TV for the everyday consumer. Just in time for my upgrade.
