I can't get XP to recognise my mic at all. I'm using one of the newish intel 24" imacs, I have boot camp working fine in every way except the mic. It doesn't seem to know I have one, and even with an external one plugged in it didn't notice. Is there a driver or something I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

My 2 year old iMac's mic works in Bootcamp (XP), but not my new MB. I'd love to know why too!

Make sure the mic is plugged in when you turn on windows XP or vista whatever your using. You then go into the sound settings>sounds speeches and audio devices, something like that. that is in your control panel, there you need to find input devices and select your mic, it should show up. If that does not work go to your desktop right click and go to properties. Then go to the sound tab and look for mic settings. Im on a MBP and my mic works fine. Sorry for broad description of how to do it.
