microphone jack on a 2014 imac?

Does the 2014 5k imac have a way of using the headphone jack as a mic input jack? I've been using SPDIF out for the last couple of years, so it's possible that such a feature, if present, might have slipped my notice.

Or do I need to get some sort of usb audio interface?
