MP 1,1-5,1 microphone works on Mac side but not windows 10 side

Hi All,

I can use microphone on Mac OS side but when I go to windows no such luck :-(. What am I missing I've gone into control panels a lot of times and I don't see anything to obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering - did you install Bootcamp in Windows?

BootCamp releases/updates tracking thread (MP7,1 BootCamp)

Note to mods: This is not iMac Pro intended, but Mac Pro 5,1 Since Apple is not releasing BootCamp for MP5,1 anymore and we are forced to use iMac Pro BootCamp drivers to have APFS support, I thought that a thread tracking iMac Pro BootCamp releases, with the direct link for the current one...

This is an issue with microphones that are on the same 3.5mm jack as headphones, like an inline mic on ear pods. No known for fix, no drivers that work.

A cheap $5-$15 “USB microphone adapter” fixes this easily. Even some PCs running Windows 10 need to use them since drivers are still not available for their own built in. Make sure it says Windows 10 compatible if you purchase.

Hi Kennyman,

I have bootcamp on the Windows side(control panel) and on the Mac side I have a hard drive that says "bootcamp" along with a system reserved hard drive icon. On a curious note if I get one that works thru a USB connection do all of these problems go away?
