I'm only using VMWare with OS X to use GarageBand to play guitar.
I can listen to twitch with perfect audio. Only the recording devices like my mic and guitar have some cancerous feedback problems. Not sure why.
The basics:
I'm using USB to Guitar jack (3/4 I think?).
I'm using USB-B to USB 2.0 for my Blue Snowball microphone.
Both are having issues, even outside of GarageBand. I used Quicktime in OS X to record these samples below. Song is nightmare by a7x.
Mac OS X 10.11 recordings:

http://vocaroo.com/i/s140ocrTGZqk Guitar.
Windows (no issues) recordings:
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0Ws2LJE0jdV Mic.
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0mla3hI7ATe Guitar.
I think that's a weeb site.. sorry lol.
Any ideas? Thanks for the help. Yes I legally own Mac OS X 10.11
[doublepost=1455816366][/doublepost]Progress, found out Mac OS X kept resetting the hz to 44100. It flatout doesn't pick up signal at the hz for some reason..
I tried 48000 and it was working until I immediately noticed there was about a 1/2 second delay in the audio monitoring. Then, after 5 minutes the audio starts sounding like it's crackling, or corrupted. Bout to just try a Windows alternative.
