On my Mom's Galaxy S7 phone her MicroSD card is corrupted. When I put it in a Galaxy tablet it run's perfectly and shows no signs of being corrupted. Is this common with phones/cards etc.

Any cause to this?

LOL. Knew this was a Samsung phone issue before I even opened your thread. Don't know what to tell you. Samsung phones have been notorious for SD card issues since the S3 days. I never had a problem with my S7 Edge because I turned my SD card into adaptable storage, so it acted like an internal drive.

So the card is fine than? The phone is fine as well? Just a weird issue with Samsung phones?

Put the card in your computer and copy everything over to a folder on the computer. Reformat the card and copy everything back to the card except for the Android folder. It will rebuild itself when you put the card back in the phone. It should now work correctly.

That is what I have noticed with Samsung phones in the past. They could corrupt your card for no apparent reason, but in your case it sounds like the phone isn't reading the card properly. As mentioned in the post above mine, put your SD card in your PC and copy everything over. Then put the card back in the phone and reformat it with the phone. Don't format it with the computer. Then plug your phone into the computer and move everything back over to your phones SD card. You should be good to go.
