Hello,

is it possible to use an Access database with Tiger?
The database itself runs on a Windows PC in my network, i just need access to it via Eclipse for Java development.

The guys from google don't know anything, so i hope you've got any solutions for my problem, because using a second workspace via Parallels isn't nice.

Thanks in advance!

You are probably out of luck.

Can you port the MS Access dbase to SQL Server? There is the free Express version you can download from MS (not supposed to be for commercial use).

If you do this there are plenty of JDBC drivers for OSX to access it.

Yeah, I don't think it's possible to run Access in OS X. You could dual-boot or use Parallels or Fusion, though, bit I think you'd still be stuck working on "the other side". I hate Access, we have a PC product that uses it and the database has proven very prone to corruption.
