Microsoft Edge looses notifications after upgrades

I thought I would ask if anyone else is having this problem with the stable channel. After a few updates edge simply stops providing notifications. They are enabled in site permissions they just never appear on the desktop. I've tried many things to try and get them to return and the only one that works is to uninstall Edge completely ie. removing all remaining parts after sending the app to the bin. Soon as that is done and edge reinstalled notifications work perfectly again until more upgrades.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I've noticed that not only do Edge Notifications not work, but Teams Notifications don't either. Except when they do work. Temporarily. Then they don't work again, temporarily.

@MacGizmo I did forget to mention i also see that wth teams. Drives me crazy when the sounds and the notifications disappear. Happy to hear its not just myself that is seeing this. I'm an expert at saving my open tabs and uninstalling, cleaning up, to then reinstall to have everything work again. I'm not sure if it is Edge or a MAC issue. I'm leaning towards Edge but I could be wrong.
