It would seem like an easy decision to add the licensing for active sync but I have been hearing rumors that Exchange is not supported. Has anything been confirmed yet with Exchange Support?

Exchange support was one of the big features of iPhone OS 3.0 so not sure why Apple would remove it in the iPad, especially if it wants to sell them to PC users. My guess is that people saying it doesn't support Exchange are trolls.

The iPad pages at Apple.com don't specifically mention Exchange support, but I believe the only reason that's so is that they didn't want to reveal the device to Microsoft before it was unveiled and so haven't completed the process of licensing active sync for the iPad. The quote rdowns found convinces me that now that the world knows about the iPad, Apple will get that licensing done in short order.
