Hi

I tried the "on the go" version of Word on my iPad Air2. I found it very convoluted and not easy (intuitive). Is the subscription version easier to integrate with iCloud Drive? Is it easier to use?

Thanks

Jay

I found it very difficult to create a new document and save it to the iCloud Drive. Would it be easier with a subscription?

My understanding is the free version of Word for the iPad is limited in what it can do. A subscription to Office 365 supposedly will allow full access to document creation and editing features that are not available in the free version. You can get more info on that from the MS site.

Not sure how non-subscription works but with 365 -

I select "New" from the side pane.
Edit the new file.
To save in iCloud, under "Save As" I give it a name, select "More" under locations and iCloud Drive is there as an option.

Seems quite straightforward.
