I am running a 6 year old MacBook Air. For the past 4 months or so, I get the pinwheel of death when using Microsoft Office. The genius bar said they could not help. Is anyone else experiencing this? It does seem to be possibly triggered when meeting invites are sent and go through our exchange server. Thanks for your feedback.

How much RAM?
How much free space?
What did you download/install 4 months ago?
Any other changes to the software, updates, etc.?

31 GB free on the Mac Drive and 32 GB free on the other drive
Nothing new installed when it all started and just have done the regular updates.
I did upgrade to El Capitan to try and fix it with no luck
