I stopped into my local Apple Reseller to take another look at the iMAC 24" and ask a few questions. One of my biggest needs is to have the contact list and Notes from my work PC Office product copied to my home PC. Not a problem now as I export the file and import it to my home version of Office. I was hoping to replace my home PC with a MAC and when I asked about this I was told that it was not possible unless I ran another copy of XP or Vista on the MAC. I had hoped that my copy of office for the mac would work with office for the PC but he tells me that this is not the case. I really want to avoid loading XP on my MAC. Its kind of like rubbing mud on the screen. Anyone out there able to do this without loading XP or Vista. This could be a deal breaker for me.
Thank You,
Jim

Are you talking about Notes from Outlook and copying them into Entourage? Should be possible... contacts shouldn't be an issue either.

There is only one type of Office file for each application. It works across OS'.

Outlook and Entourage don't play happy together.

What does your office do for remote workers, like those who travel? Another option is Remote Desktop Connection if they are set up for remote.
