So I transferred my boot up drive (HDD) to another drive (SSD) using Migration Assistant and now Office 2019 doesn't work as it can't find the license. Apparently, MA should have copied everything over including the license.

Have Googled to try and find a solution but no joy.

My questions are:
How do I find the license? I still have the old drive.
If I can't find the license, will purchasing a new key/license like this one work on the same account or will I have to use another account?

OS: 10.13.6
Mac Pro Mid 2012
Microsoft Home & Student 2019 Version 16.43

Thanks!

MA dos not copy the license as you have found out. If you purchase a new license you will then install the new version and (normally) it will link to you old users data. If you have a Microsoft account, you can sign in and reinstall you office version from the service and subscription tab.
