Microsoft Remote Desktop Help

I currently have two monitors at home, macbook laptop and another monitor connected. Currently when i log into my desktop from home i can only see 1 work monitor instead of the two monitors I have at my work desk. I am trying to mirror exactly what i have at my desk where i can use both monitors at home as if i am at work with two monitors. I have tried both MRD 8.0.37 as well as MRD beta 8.2.30. please help . tia

FYI- i am using windows 7 professional at work and 10.10.5 os x yosemite at home

Give Teamviewer a go (teamviewer.com). At least that will help you work out if its a monitor or remote connection problem.
