Microsoft Remote Desktop in Monterey

Has anyone successfully used the Microsoft Remote Desktop app in the latest public beta of Monterey? I tried to in the initial public release and RD crashed instantly, every time, when attempting to connect. I ended up going back to Big Sur as I use RD frequently. Thanks

I’m curious what your setup is, in case a future Microsoft update occurs.

Windows machine (virtual / actual, on same network or ?).
Windows OS version and build? I believe RDP has a specific setting for older OS connections is disallowed by default, yet not 100% on that, I do recall seeing it.

What’s the report log of the crash? Have you submitted it to Microsoft? this way Microsoft’s RDP for Mac team can review and resolve in future update, which also will help iOS 15 as well.

I remote into my PC at work (Windows 10) using the Microsoft Remote Desktop app on my Mac. Works perfectly in Big Sur (and has in prior versions of Mac OS). It did not work in the first public beta of Monterey. The app would open, but would crash immediately when trying to connect.
