Just saw this where Microsoft announced .net 6 has just added support for apple silicon.

Support for Apple Silicon has been added in .NET 6 Preview 4, available now

Preview 4 of .NET 6 is live with support for new device targets such as Apple Silicon and WPF on ARM64. Microsoft has also announced a research initiative focused on developer well-being.

No, but a core development framework that MS uses for Windows supports Apple Silicon Macs. If I remember correctly, full support will come with .NET 7, which basically means that you can write a Windows application that will natively run on Macs.

.NET 6 to be officially released in November will have full support for Apple's ARM and Windows ARM. It's all currently available in beta now.
