SEATTLE, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. (MSFT.O: Quote, Profile, Research) is entering into an agreement with Novell Inc. (NOVL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) that will allow open-source Linux software to work with the company's Windows software, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

This is really a really really good thing, or a really really bad thing. Unfortunatly i am neither intelligent nor well enough enformed to decide which.

I don't see a problem with open source software running in Windows. Many (if not most) of them already do.

However - if this means Vista will include open source software, that isn't good.

Windows already supports opensource. It's called Interix. Look it up.
