Microsoft to buy Skype for 7 billion

Microsoft is apparently in talks to buy Skype for 7-8 Billion.

I wonder what this would mean for the future of Skype on the Mac. It'd be ironic if Microsoft were the ones who fixed Skype 5's interface problems.

I haven't used Skype in a while, but as there is still some money in there I guess, MS will keep a Mac version I suppose. They even have drivers for Mac OS X for their mice.
