My wife has been doing some writing in her book series and has been having some issues with the keyboard losing it's usability (better word?) while she's working.
Ipad Mini 4 with a bluetooth keyboard, she'll be mid sentence, and it seems to just lag off. A few seconds later, all she typed will fill in. She has to close Word completely and the restart the app; rinse repeat. It's random.
iPad Pro 10.5", same exact issue with the official smart keyboard attached.
I've been trying to recreate it with the smart keyboard and the 11" M1 iPad Pro, but sometimes it takes three/four pages into it before it happens. I did a full page of text with that setup without issues.
The iPad 10.5" was reset completely, and a fresh app install and update done, still an issue.
Any links, suggestions, etc. We tried turning off Auto-format in the Word settings, as suggested in an apple support thread, but that didn't work.
