I have been switching between integrated and discrete every 10 seconds for about 5 minutes now and I haven't experienced a kernel panic. Has anyone else noticed that El Capitan is not panicking on a panic-plagued mid-2010 MacBook Pro?

Edit: Also, display color temperature does not cool when switching anymore.

i have not seen the color thing lately but im seeing kernel panics almost every time coming out of sleep especially when i put it to sleep with a powered USB 2.0 hub.

Without that hub or using a unpowered (via AC adapter) usb 3.0 hub seems to hold up longer. But this is my 3rd day or so testing that approach. So far no kernel panic.. yet

I don't have a USB hub and this model isn't USB 3, so I don't know about that. Most of my crashes have been due to switching from integrated to dedicated cards.

Did this crash get filed with Apple? This is the type of thing which gets highest priority.

I just got another crash. I guess it isn't resolved. The crash is known to Apple and they had a recall period but I missed it.
