I upgraded my GPU on my iMac Mid 2011 over the weekend everything went well. After the upgrade I noticed my camera was not working so I check the cabling I know the cable works as Bluetooth still works. Funnily enough this morning my Camera started working and now has stopped, has anyone come across this?

Cheers

John

Hi, I checked and double-checked that connector and it's in but not as snug as I wanted.

Take it out, check the connector on the board. I once had a pin bend, hardly noticeable. Was a pain bending it back straight. Other than that, check the connector on the camera PCB whether it's tight.
Worst case, take it out, connect externally. There's a thread on how to do it. Makes it easier to check.

Cheers for the advice you was correct after using a magnifine glass I could see pin 2 and pin 13 were bent, I had to unscrew the logic board forward to straight the pins. All working! Thanks again!
