My mid-2011 imac 27" i5 2.7 Ghz computer suddenly won't boot up. power button does absolutely nothing--no beeps, lights, whizzes, or hums. I've tried unplugging for 24 hrs, resetting PRAM, everything that I could find on google, etc... finally I disassembled the thing and none of the troubleshooting LED's turn on when plugged in. I noticed pastie residue in a few areas on the logic board, as shown in the pics.

At first I thought it was just thermal paste, but after further investigation, they are all at points where capacitors are located. Can anyone confirm, based on these pics that the issue is leaking capacitors on the logic board? I'm a click away from buying a replacement on ebay....
