mid 2012 15" non retina neither USB is transmitting data

Hi Guys i have a mid 2012 15" that will charge devices but cannot be used for data(usb thumb drive or nothing nothing else). is there a fuse? or something. i reloaded el capitan, reset smc etc. with no joy. The ports look to be in great shape.

I would be most grateful for any support you can offer.
