Yeah...WTF? Why did they even bother? And couldn't at least have put the latest chips in there without a full design refresh?
 
:-(. When nobody buys, they will simply argue that nobody wants Mac Pros when in reality, nobody wants to buy expensive machines that are an after thought and aren't updating to the latest technology. Come on Apple! Really?!! I guess this means we may see Thunderbolt in Mac Pro's in 2 years... or this is it for Mac Pro's. >:-<
 
They may do a refresh again later in the year (I think they did that once before with a Mac, where there was a minor speed bump followed by a re-design a few months later) OR they're going to kill it soon and wanted to give it one last bump before the funeral. Wouldn't be so bad if Thunderbolt was an add-on option with a card...
