Hi, would really appreciate some help.

Yesterday, MacBook was running ok, but I noticed a few beach balls lasting a few seconds.
Today when I turned computer on, everything is resulting in beach balls that last minutes. I.e. Clicked on my user to login, 3 minutes. Start typing pw, I press the first key and have to wait 3 minutes, then once in, every action results in a beach balls lasting 5 minutes or more.

So X Yosemite
V 10.10.5

13 inch mid 2012
2.9ghz core i7
16gb 1600 ddr3
Graphics Intel had 4000 1024

SSD 500GB SATA Drive (I put in about 5 months ago. Has been working well. Improved performance a lot when I put it in.)

RAM now is 3 active, 11 free (while beach balls)

Storage is 476 / 499 used. (Ie 23 free)
I'm trying to delete but having problems deleting

Can't uninstall Adobe programs
When I try to run it, it says failed, try restarting computer, etc.
(It worked 1 time, but uninstalled stopped at 99%. On restart, program is still there)

Can't Delete files
Deleting files coming up with error -50
(On some restarts I've been able to delete files. So isn't every time)

I've tried restarting in safe mode. It took 10 minutes to restart.
It showed SafeMode on the user login screen, but then after logging in, it looked like normal mode? (Not sure if this is how it is supposed to be??).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Like immensely!

Either fixes or how to properly diagnose the problem.

Thanks

Reboot while holding down command-r to enter recovery mode. Then go to Disk Utility and run Disk First Aid or Repair Disk.

Yosemite much like El Capitan is total rubbish and will make your machine run like rubbish..
Downgrade to Mavericks then make sure you don't have a screen full of icons which will slow it down.. Also don't download any of those programs like mackeeper or speed up my Mac etc etc.. They are potentially viruses and make MacBooks run terribly .. You don't need any programs at all like that.. I simply use avg free for Mac and that's all.

A lot of my customers have mackeeper etc on their machines and once I delete them then they work fine.. I only use Mavericks too..
Apple release software on their iPhones and their computers without first completely testing them which causes compatibility issues with software and in some cases the graphics or ram in the machine.. Apple dumbarse bar is totally useless so please don't waste your time..
