So I have two partially broken 15inch Macbook Pro's, an A1286 2011 and an A1286 2012, The 2011 has Anti-Glare Screen but a bad motherboard, and the 2012 has a damaged screen and trackpad. I just wanted to know if it was possible to take the screen and trackpad from the 2011 and put them into the 2012?

Thanks!

Canada, eh!
For the screen, I believe you can, however you have to mod the connector. IF you Google it, you can probably find the answer.

I'm not sure about the trackpad.

Thanks for the response, I performed the swap a couple of hours ago and here are the deets. Everything swapped over just fine even the trackpad. The only issue was the screen connector. The physical connector is the same however I had to trim its 2011 screen connector's housing and swap over the latch from the 2012 connector. Once I did that it fit right into place.
