Hello All,

I’m going to try to make this story relatively short. Back in December 2019 I took my Mid 2015 MacBook Pro 15” into the Apple Store to have the battery recall taken care of. When I went to pick it up I noticed several dead pixels on the screen. They said they had no documentation of the dead pixels when they received it so they would replace the screen free of charge. They replaced the screen and everything seemed normal. A few weeks later I got the dreaded question mark and the laptop wouldn’t boot. Tried booting on an external drive and it booted right up. Okay bad SSD? Easy fix. I bought an OWC AURA X2 2 TB to replace it. While I was in there I also replaced the thermal paste. The laptop worked fine for a little while after installing the SSD and then started getting this screen glitching issue when the laptop is on for a few minutes. Thought okay I’ve heard that OWC has bad quality control maybe a bad SSD considering everything was fine before. This time I opted for a Samsung 970 EVO PLUS with an adapter. Just for the hell of it, changed the paste again. Same thing. Everything worked fine for a little while and then right back to the screen glitching issue. I’ve tried SMC and PRAM resets, reinstalling OS, and watching my temps and nothing seems that far off. I’m at a loss. Anyone have any suggestions?
