I was entertaining the thought of upgrading the nvme SSD, HDD and processor on my mid 2017 iMac now that it’s out of warranty. It would cost me about 800, total for the upgrade.
Or Would it make more sense to sell it and just buy the latest model? With the smallest available upgrade and Vega 48.
I currently own the i5 3.8 580Pro 2tb fusion drive and 24 gig of ram. I have an offer of 1500, pretty impeccable no cosmetic issues and it’s like new condition.

So 1500 plus 800 that gives me 2,300. So, then I would need another 500 for the new iMac based on the BTO model with Vega 48 and 512 ssd.

Upgrade or make a move for the new model? Thoughts.
