Does anyone know how to make MIDI loops for use in Garageband?

At the moment I'm using DentDuMidi to convert MIDI files to aif files, then passing the aif files through the Soundtrack Loop Utility so that they are tagged, and then placing the files in to a suitably named folder and dragging the folder into garageband. Unfortunately this is not enough. The MIDI loops show up fine and adhere to the tags created within SLU, but they cannot be auditioned like the other original Apple MIDI Loops. I understand that SLU is solely for making audio Apple Loops, so maybe someone knows of a utility that does the same for MIDI?

Any help would be much appreciated.

midi to .aiff to GarageBand

1.Buy a licence for melody assistant from www.myriad-online.com
2.Open your mid file, select your voice and copy it to a new document
3.Save this as an .aiff and drag it to GarageBand, you're done
