Midnight Apple leather link - how blue or black is it?

I got my sequoia leather link, and I love it so far. Thinking of ordering a second, and figure the midnight might be a practical color to have since I can't locate a saddle brown anywhere at the moment.

Is it more blue or more black? Anyone have pics?

It really does! It's a bit more blue than I thought it would be, but I like it.

Returned it. Too blue for my liking now I wish I would have bought the black one before this revision

I just got mine in. Out of the box it looks pretty dark - I need to put it on and go in the light I suppose.

I LOVE these, but I'm trying to decide if I need to own that dark green that I really can't wear with a lot of stuff AND a blue/black that may/may not match a lot of stuff.

Why didn't I try these back when they had saddle brown? That's definitely my go-to color!
