I got a midnight blue sports band in for my son, and it has what looks like rose gold or the rosy looking gold metal.

What other options are there on the midnight blue bands? If there is only gold/silver, I’ll just stick with what I got I suppose, but if they have some with the space black or other similar color, I’d rather look for that to go with son’s space black watch.

And I don’t know what to call those metal pieces, since they aren’t technically snaps or buttons, so metal or hardware it is. ;-p

I believe some of the earlier ones had a gold and stainless(silver) option. I received one without a box labeled as silver but it seems to be a bit more gold to me. Since it was just the M/L strap I found one in a box with silver pin. The one that I suspect might be gold is VERY subtle but it's definitely not a stainless steel.

There were variants of midnight blue that had yellow gold and rose gold pins. However, those bands were only sold bundled with a watch. If you bought the midnight blue band separately, it came with a silver pin. You occasionally find a used midnight blue with the rose gold or yellow gold pin floating around on eBay these days.

Midnight blue was never offered with a black pin. To my knowledge, the only sport bands ever sold with a black pin (not including the ones bundled with Hermes/Edition watches) were:
  • Black
  • Gray (sold briefly in 2017)
  • Nike Black/Volt
  • Nike Cargo Khaki/Black
  • Nike Olive Flak/Black
  • Nike Celestial Teal/Black
  • Nike Obsidian/Black
  • Nike Black/Hyper Grape
  • Nike Black/Cool Gray
  • Nike Black/White

@MacDevil7334 weak search-fu here so can you explain why a few of my older Nike sport bands have the + stamped on them & my last one (bought last yr.) doesn't?

TIA

Nike dropped the Nike+ branding sometime in 2019 (I think it was later in the year but not 100% sure). All Nike bands made after that don’t have the + on the band. They’re completely the same as the old bands in design though. Just a change in branding on Nike’s part.
