I think there are options in System Preferences / Keyboard and mouse which will help you. I had to look there when i set my mighty mouse for right-clicking. Hope this helps!

While we're on the MM.....I've not been too happy with mine....the right click seems to be erratic and you almost have to find its sweet spot!

Does this sound right? Or should it right click every time - regardless of where you click on its right side?

I've gone back to using the keyboard shortcut to right click - which kind of defeats the point of having one !

cheers

I was using USB overdrive... this is what was killing my mouse. Other than that no problems here. My right click is perfect although for left click you need to lift your right finger 'coz of the touch sensitivity.

I think the Mighty Mouse is basically a disaster. Yeah, the right click doesn't work well at all ... but even worse is the scroll ball, I'm on my third mouse, both of the previous ones the ball got stuck and just stopped working after awhile. I think this product is an example of Apple trying to get too cute and creating a product not durable enough for daily use.

Just the other day my MM, the Scrolly wheel would not scroll down anymore. You could feel that it was not catching.
Whats really wierd is that today it was working again

I must agree that it is not the Design. :(

For the right-click to work, you must LIFT your finger off of the left-click.

very un-intuitive, and therefore un-applelike. but that's life!
