When waking my 45 day old 17" Intel iMac from sleep mode, the mighty mouse often is completely unresponsive (50% of the time). Only after unplugging the mouse's USB jack from the keyboard, then plugging it back into the keyboard does it work properly. The keyboard sometimes does the same thing when waking from sleep mode (although it is much less frequent than the mouse). Any ideas about what's causing this? Thanks.

This is a frequently reported problem... i have it with the Imac i got for my Dad & family.
There seems to be a few options:
1. Plugging the Mouse into the computer directly seems to fix it... although its a workaround...
2. one report said plugging everything into a USB Hub and then that into the computer fixes it.
3. and LAST: i saw one report of a guy calling apple up about it and they replaced his Keyboard for him, which he said fixed the problem.

hopefully one of the future Updates will fix things if its a software issue.
