Hi guys, I am trying to decide between the Miglia TVMicro and Elgato EyeTV Hybrid.

Right now I have Analog Bright House cable in my room, but I plan on upgrading to Digital Verizon Fios cable in a couple months.

Which one would you reccomend and why?

Thanks so much!

Get the TVMicro unless you want to get HDTV reception with an external antenna.

Neither item will let you view HD signals from FIOS, and neither will let you view anything but the analog channels (i.e., the channels you could get with a standard TV and no cable box).

The Micro comes with a remote, the Hybrid comes with a dongle for composite input and will allow zero-latency video game playing (unlike, I think, the Micro).

But for normal, just-playing-standard-TV viewing, save some money and get the Micro with its remote (the Hybrid will let you use a Mac remote, should you have one, but it's not as intuitive as a dedicated remote).

I own the hybrid and can verify that it does indeed get HDTV signals over-the-air, but I'd imagine it's no better than the Micro for standard TV.
