I use the miglia tvmini hd with my iMac g5. It works great on it. it connects via USB.

Wouldn't it be great if you could use tvmini with apple tv? It already has an open usb port. Only thing that would need to be done is find a way to install the eyetv software that it uses, or maybe similar software that would recognize the tv mini.

Any chance someone can figure out how to do this?

I'm sure if apple wanted to it could do this.

YES... it would be great if that would work. I would buy both tomorrow.
Anyone know if it is possible?

i have my apple tv connected to a HD projector. Miglia hd mini would be able to pick up OTA hd broadcasts. It would add live tv to the appletv, so I could cancel comcast

A tv tuner for the aTV would be nice, but I doubt that it'll happen, at least with Apple's blessing.

I think it would be more likely that the aTV would be opened up to allow a developer to create an application that would add a menu item - called Live TV, and control the tuner that's connected to a Mac on the network.

I'm sure that El Gato would love to be able to add that functionality to EyeTV.
