I have about 250 Gb of music, video, apps that I would like to have on both an external drive, but also put this on my new MBP?

Windows does not read HD formatted by Macs, I am hoping that Macs will read HD formatted with windows? Probably needs FAT formatting? Using a network and sharing would obviously take a very long time. Thanks for suggestions.

Your Windows apps do not run on OSX. To transfer your music just....transfer your music.

So, I guess I was not clear enough - the apps are iTunes Apps for iPhone, iPod, iPad. Same with the music. Transfering the music over a network would be painfully slow, re-downloading everythin through iTunes would take me several years....

SO, I have everything on a windows formatted hard drive - how do I get it over to the MacBook?
