Hello,

Is there a way to transfer the entire Mail application (settings, junk mail db, rules, etc.) from one Mac to another? I have a PowerBook and new Power Mac G5 both running OS 10.3.

Thanks in advance.

Transfer the Mail folder inside of:
[user]/Library/

and file com.apple.mail.plist located in:
[user]/Library/Preferences/

to the same respective directories on your second Mac. You do not need to transfer the application Mail.

This might be obvious, but make sure Mail isn't open ("on") (for either machine) when you do the copy. Otherwise, there is possible confusion over "locked" folders.
