Migrating mobile me accounts to icloud

Is it possible to use my mobile me account for icloud? I tired to create my icloud account with my MM email but I got an error that this MM account has not been migrated...will it be possible eventually?

"If you have an active MobileMe account when you sign up for iCloud, you’ll be able to keep your me.com or mac.com email address and move your MobileMe mail, contacts, and calendars, as well as your bookmarks, to the new service.
